Bob Muller - Experienced Leadership for Nags Head

I have served on the Board of Commissioners since 1985 and became Mayor in February of 2001. Prior to becoming a Commissioner I served on the Nags Head Planning Board and Board of Adjustment. I currently serve on the Advisory Board for The Nature Conservancy at Nags Head Woods. I have served on numerous community organizations in the last 20 years including the founding boards of the North Ridge Property Owners Association and the Friends of Jockeys Ridge.

In my role as a Commissioner I have served on the policy committees for the North Carolina League of Municipalities. I currently serve on the Finance, Administration and Intergovernmental Relations Committee. I have also served on several local and regional boards and committees including the Albemarle Commission and the Tar/Pamlico Regional Council.

I graduated from the Westtown School in Westtown Pa. and received a Bachelors Degree in Political Economics from Williams College in 1973. I have attended a variety of conferences, seminars and training sessions over the years to increase my skills as an elected official.
