Ways to Help
Don't send money I do not accept campaign contributions. I believe money is a large part of the problem with politics today. After 16 years in office I understand the independence that comes from not accepting money from people who have special interests in the town. The next time you see a campaign ad on TV or in the paper, ask who paid for it then ask what they expect to get for their investment. My answer is that my wife and I paid for it and what we want is good government. Note: This web site and all my campaign expenses are borne by my wife Carole and me.
Register to Vote Registration is quick and simple in North Carolina. You can register by mail. Registration materials are available from the Town Clerk (441-5508), any Dare County Library, and the Board of Elections (473-1101 ext.319) in Manteo.
Host a Campaign EventIf you would like me to meet you and your neighbors during the campaign please contact me by e-mail

Contact your friendsOne great element of elections is the dialog within the community. I urge you to talk to your friends and neighbors about the issues in the election. If you have questions or need more information please feel free to contact me.
